Located on the edge of New Zealand's breathtaking Fiordland National Park, and offering sublime ocean and mountains views, The Cliffs Seaside Lodge is a slice of paradise and a marvellous business opportunity.

The Cliffs Seaside Lodge opened in 2018 with nine apartments, all with their own uninterrupted views of the Southern Ocean through floor to ceiling windows. They all have their own balcony looking out over the extensive natural bush and rolling hillside down to the beach.

Three years later The Cliffs Hump Ridge View Motel opened with a further nine units, set down in the hillside, immersed in nature, and also offering stunning views.

The Cliffs is only an hour’s drive away from Te Anau or Invercargill, and two and half hours from Queenstown. Popular local activities include jet boating, horse riding, fishing, and helicopter flights.

A short walkway through native gardens brings guests to The Cliffs Sunset Cafe/Restaurant, which offers sumptuous meals in a glorious location

Mr Johnson is seeking offers above $3.65m for the property. A beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath house with an expansive dining room, kitchen and lounge is also available by negotiation.

“The Lodge has been in operation since 2018 and it has already gained a strong reputation and following among guests,” Mr Johnson said.

“This provides a stable and profitable business opportunity for potential buyers.

“There is also the potential for further growth and revenue for the business.”

Fiordland National Park is by far the largest of the 13 national parks in New Zealand, with an area of 12,607 square kilometres 

The opening of the Milford Track from Lake Te Anau to Milford Sound in 1889 received significant worldwide publicity in the early years of the 20th century as the “Finest Walk in the World”.

The British writer Rudyard Kipling declared Milford Sound “the eighth wonder of the world”.
