Manenti Quinlan & Associates are pleased to announce the successful sale of the Leasehold Business of the Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel, located at 97 Market Street, Mudgee. The transaction was managed by Directors Ray Larkin and Malcolm Mathie of Motel Sales, Manenti Quinlan & Associates.
Situated on the corner of Market and Perry Streets, the Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel enjoys a prime location within walking distance of Mudgee’s vibrant shops, cafés, Soldiers Club, and hotels.
This charming property features 16 guest suites—14 motel-style rooms and 2 self-contained apartments—alongside a licensed restaurant space at the rear, currently not in operation. Housed in a beautifully restored 1850s heritage building, the Hotel boasts a 4.5-star rating.
The lease, which had 14 years remaining, was sold with an additional 10-year extension granted by the Landlord, offering long-term security to the new operators.
Following a highly successful Private Treaty campaign that attracted over 150 enquiries, the business was sold by Anglease Pty Ltd to Coppermill Trading Pty Ltd. Malcolm Mathie confirmed that Coppermill Trading Pty Ltd will continue to operate the accommodation business and intends to sublease the restaurant facility.
Demand for quality Leasehold and Freehold hospitality businesses within three hours of Sydney remains strong. Manenti Quinlan & Associates currently have four additional sales in the region scheduled to settle in the new financial year.
Ray Larkin noted that Mudgee has been a standout market for the firm in 2024/25, with five Motel transactions completed—four freehold and one leasehold—totalling over $25 million in sales.
We extend our best wishes to Coppermill Trading Pty Ltd as they embark on their new venture at the Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel.
