The stunning Seabreeze resort in the ocean paradise of Samoa is a multiple award-winning property regarded as one of the leading getaways in the South Pacific.
The awards it has garnered include “Samoa’s Leading Hotel” and “Oceania’s Most Romantic Resort”.
Bernie Poort spent 13 years living in Samoa helping to establish the tourism industry there as the former Regional CEO of ANZ Bank. He is the vendor’s advocate and authorised representative for Seabreeze and says Samoa offers a unique opportunity for tourism and accommodation providers.

“Samoa is very much unspoiled and it will be the next big tourist destination for Aussies and Kiwis in particular without a doubt,” Mr Poort said.
“It is relatively new to the tourism space, and is competing against the likes of Fiji, Tahiti and Vanuatu. But it does have the full support of the Samoan Government and the Government has been committed to tourism for the last decade.
“Samoa has hosted most of the major events across the Pacific including two South Pacific Games and the upcoming CHOGM event which will bring 50 heads of state as well as the King and Queen to Samoa.”

Mr Poort said there still remained a shortage of luxury accommodation in Samoa and that Seabreeze was “a beautiful property”.
“It’s a boutique resort with just 12 rooms but it’s right up there with any property in the world,” he said.
Philip Toogood, from Baileys, is marketing Seabreeze as an outstanding Investment opportunity with the very best of South Pacific living.
Seabreeze is situated on the island of Upolu, the second largest of the Samoan islands.

Apia, the capital, is in the middle of the north coast, and Faleolo International Airport at the western end of the island that is 75 kilometres long.
The island is a place steeped in romance and history.
In the late 19th century, the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson regarded it as a “Treasure Island” and owned a 160-hectare estate on Upolu. He died there in 1894 and is buried at the top of Mount Vaea overlooking his former estate.
Seabreeze, situated on the Main South Coast Road, comprises 12 luxury villas which are currently run as adult only accommodation.

The resort was completely refurbished in late 2022 with new furniture and equipment.
It consistently runs at 75 per cent yearly average for occupancy offering high yield on ROI.
The current EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) is approximately NZD $800,000 annually. The property is priced at NZ$4,500,000.
Seabreeze is spread over five long-term waterfront leases and there is ample room to double the existing capacity of the resort.
Samoa is known for its stunning natural beauty and idyllic lifestyle, and Seabreeze is a property with soft white sand, magnificent blue ocean views, a picture-perfect lagoon and a private secluded bay complete with stunning sunrise views and sunset skies. There are three restaurants and two bars offering a la carte gourmet delights.

Guests can explore the teeming reefs all about and the languid neighbouring bays or simply relax by the resort’s infinity pool with a favourite cocktail in hand.
The location offers a unique opportunity for investors to secure their own piece of paradise in the South Pacific and the resort has both a wonderful reputation and a loyal customer base.
Among the most popular attractions on Upolu is the To Sua Ocean Trench, a serene natural lava tube with a refreshing ocean water hole.
The Robert Louis Stevenson Museum, situated in the author’s former home, offers a fascinating insight into the writer of such classic novels as Treasure Island, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and Kidnapped.
There are numerous spectacular waterfalls on the island as well as high points to view the magnificent ocean and surrounding emerald-green of the island’s lush vegetation.
