Savills lists 'once in a lifetime' acquisition opportunity for central coast hotel/motel

One of the best-known boutique hotel/motels on the NSW Central Coast, The Clan, has being listed for sale in what exclusive agents, Savills, says is a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity in one of Sydney’s most desirable getaway destinations.

“There’s been a strong resurgence of domestic tourism to the Central Coast area, and as a result we’re seeing renewed investment interest in the hotel sector, particularly the NSW regional accommodation market.  

“This is mainly due to the regional market having less exposure to the peaks and troughs in ADR’s and occupancy levels given they’re not exposed to the impacts of international visitation,” Mr Lower added.  

Selin Ince, Senior Executive, Hotels at Savills said, “We know from council consultation there’s a significant shortfall in the current supply of commercial accommodation; there’s simply not enough to meet current visitor demand.

“With investments being made into infrastructure and better direct access to the Central Coast - the highspeed ferry from Sydney to Gosford is just one example – it’s not unreasonable to think tourist numbers to the area will continue to grow,” Ms Ince finished.  

The Terrigal area offers tourists the best of both worlds with its proximity to world class golf courses and beaches, dining and shopping options such as Esplanade and Erina Fair Shopping Mall and popular landmarks like Norah Head Lighthouse and the iconic Terrigal Skillion.  

The Clan at 1 – 5 Ocean View Drive, Wamberal is for sale via Expressions of Interest, closing Friday 4th December at 11am AEST.
