Prestige Residential adds to premium portfolio with Number One in Hastings Street through ResortBrokers

ResortBrokers Sunshine Coast agent Chenoa Daniel has sold the management and letting rights for Number One in Hastings Street, widely regarded as Noosa’s most prestigious privately-owned resort.

Prestige Residential acquired the rights in an off-market deal following an expressions of interest campaign. The rights, which had been held by the resort’s original developers, were sold for the first time since the five-star property opened its doors 30 years ago.

The acquisition marks the latest in a series of premium management rights purchases by Prestige Residential, which includes Oceans Mooloolaba Beach and Mirvac’s luxury high-rises Quay and Isle in Brisbane’s Waterfront Newstead precinct.

The 26-apartment Number One in Hastings Street occupies the coveted ‘Paris end’ of Noosa’s premier boulevard. It offers a collection of self-contained one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments, including penthouses, with panoramic views of Noosa Main Beach, Laguna Bay and Hastings Street itself.

“This landmark transaction was two years in the making due to the de-coupling of the manager’s unit and other unique complexities,” says Ms Daniel, who has settled 13 management rights transactions this financial year with a combined asset value exceeding $35 million.

Prestige Residential has announced plans to temporarily close Number One in Hastings Street in March 2025 to facilitate an external repaint and general refurbishment, with the resort scheduled to reopen in December 2025.
