The region is home to hundreds of esteemed restaurants and bars, and is well equipped to deal with the thousands of domestic and international travellers who choose to holiday in the area each year, with a total of 981 accommodation options and food services available. With stunning natural scenery and plenty to do, the region draws a range of guests, from families and couples through to backpackers. As such, accommodation options include everything from luxury hotels and serviced apartments to hostels.

With the region being so popular with interstate and international travellers, some airport shuttle services offer transfers to the Northern Beaches.

Some of the most popular activities and attractions in the region include local park and bush walks such as the Davidson Park to Stepping Stone Crossing walk, as well as surfing, swimming or relaxing at the local Manly, Mona Vale, Newport, and Avalon Beaches.
